IdeaGist Founder and Ministry of Science and Technology Pakistan's focal person on Innovation and Emerging Technologies, Hassan Syed, will share the program details on Prime Minister's Startup Pakistan and Empower Pakistan movements, explaining how these programs will benefit Pakistan and Overseas Pakistanis.

Prime Minister's Startup Pakistan is an ambitious program, under the Kamyab Jawan Umbrella, to train one million students in Practical Entrepreneurship and launch 10,000 successful startups. More than 60 universities have already joined this movement and with the official announcement by the Prime Minister to inaugurate Kamyam Jawan Program in September, we will launch Startup Pakistan at full speed from September.

While this program has many benefits for Pakistan economy, it also offers a range of opportunities to Overseas Pakistanis. Inside Pakistan, it is named as Startup Pakistan and outside Pakistan is called Empower Pakistan.

IdeaGist Pakistan has started an ambitious project called “Empower Pakistan” to invest in the startup ecosystem in Pakistan and providing entrepreneurship training to one million university and college students, offering entrepreneurship as a career choice.  This pipeline will be supported by developing a vibrant community of overseas Pakistanis that are willing to mentor young entrepreneurs from Pakistan.
